Important Art Deco Sofa Set from Hollywood Pantages Theater

Opened in 1930 at the world famous intersection of Hollywood and Vine, The RKO Pantages Theater was Hollywood’s version of Radio City Music Hall. Created in the most opulent Art Deco style, the theater is a monument to the glamour of prime Hollywood. The theater was sold, and became the home of the Academy Awards ceremony from 1949-1959. It underwent a major remodel in 2000, when this fantastic set was removed. We had previously sold the set and restored the walnut wood and upholstered it in top grain leather. It is in amazing condition, and the carved details are stunning. An opportunity to own a real piece of Hollywood history like this rarely comes up! Chairs are 36 inches wide, and all other dimensions are listed below.
