German Biology Chart – Spiders – 1910
30% OFF! The German company Schroder und Kull made wonderfully illustrated nature charts for classroom teaching in the early 20th century. Ours is a fantastic depiction of a spider closing in on its' captured prey. The borders illustrate various parts of the spiders body. The paper is mounted on linen for strength, which has helped to preserve it, as well, There are some brown foxing spots, and edge wear, typical with age. The paper is curled under on both sides, but could be pressed into a frame to eliminate all issues. There is also a slight tear to the paper on the upper right edge, although not though the linen. There is also a very small missing spot of paper on the bottom left, as shown. Again, the work can be framed, and will look fantastic. Just the perfect amount of creepy!
