Art Deco Movie Theatre Sconces – Neon, Etched Glass

These wonderful sconces were originally from a Chicago area 1930s theatre. They utilized the most modern of materials and design, including bands of etched glass intersected with neon tubes. We have done a sensitive restoration to the lamps. The work includes re-plating of the lower portions, updating the neon, including new enclosed transformers. All electrical elements have been rewired, as well. There is a standard lamp socket in the upper portion, casting a pleasing upward light. Both the upper light and neon lights are uniquely switched, so you can either section turned on or off. The pair is incredibly impressive in their design, condition, and scale.
