The 3-D movie – Fort Ti – was produced in 1953and starred George Montgomery, Joan Vohs & Phyllis Fowler. This image depicts the 2 women fighting with a knife and an axe, and George keeping them apart. These 3-D Lenticular displays were photographed by Paul Hesse to promote the 3-D films. The quality of these Lenticular photos were above anything seen at the time. When we originally found these in the 1980’s we would demonstrate the 3-D effect by showing how you could almost stick a pen into the photo and it would seem as though the foreground items were substantially in front of it.
