1940’s Skyscraper Frankl style Cabinet

$1,800.00

This lovely design has all the hallmarks of a great Frankl design – “skyscraper” asymetrical shape and unique surface materials. Paul Frankl was known to design furniture for the Johnson Furniture Company using “combed” wood surfaces. Woods were pressed into a ribbed “corduroy” finish, and mixed with alternating smooth surfaced woods for a decorative effect. This cabinet serves as a free standing divider, and is accessible from doors on each side. There are adjustable shelf runners inside to add shelving (not included). The upper section alternates with open compartments, and sections that are centered with combed wood panels. We have freshened up the original finish, and it displays very well.

Dimensions: H 77 in. x W 48.25 in. x D 16.25 in.
