New York Skyscraper Bronze Art Deco Drinking Fountain
A fine example of American Art Deco, this wall-mounted fountain came from a 1930s New York Skyscraper Lobby. The drinking fountain is the bubbler type, with spring loaded handles. The unit is in three basic elements – the bowl, the back splash plate, and the bubbler fountain. The fountain is threaded to accept an incoming water pipe, and the bowl is fitted with an outgoing drain pipe. There are no structural issues or metal fatigue, and the fountain displays a lovely patina.
