Celestial Revolving Sculpture by Curtis Jere, 1988
I have had many artistic and decorative items by Jere over the years, but nothing quite as unique as this! The sculpture represents a celestial grouping of planets and moons, created in painted wood and steel. The entire sculpture slowly revolves atop a motorized base of painted steel. It is signed C. Jere, 1988 and the back of the base and plugs into a standard wall socket. There is overall wear and age to the painted surfaces, but no major or structural damage. The unit rotates freely and works quietly. The motor has been upgraded, and new switch added.
