Art Deco Polaroid Desk Lamp – Walter Dorwin Teague -1939
One of the true icons of 20th century design! Designed by Teague for the Polaroid Corporation in 1939, the lamp captures the forward motion of modern design of the 1930's Art Deco movement. Our lamp is a high polished black bakelite, unlike the more common brown version. It is in perfect working condition, and is complete with the light diffusing “Polarizer” film inside the shade. The lamp retains its' original identifying label to the underside.
